In collaboration with LeWitt Studio, we are very happy to take part in the FAI Spring Days on 21–22 March 2026.
We will open the doors of Casa L’Orto, the home of Sol LeWitt’s family on the Amalfi Coast.
Built in the 1700s by the ancestors of Carol LeWitt,President of the Board of the Yale University Art Gallery and wife of the conceptual artist Sol LeWitt, the house is set within the timeless landscape of Praiano.
The beauty and sense of peace that can be felt within its walls captivated the artist when he began visiting the town in the mid-1970s. Among the LeWitt family’s properties, Casa L’Orto is the only one that contains Wall Drawings created by the artist.
Over the two days, we will guide visitors through the house, the Wall Drawings preserved inside it, and the ancient terraced gardens and organic gardens that surround the property.
